SJI's 112th Birthday Celebration,Welcoming Encik Mazlan and Farewell Encik Mustafa,Smart Lab 1 Renovations,Thaipusam Holiday,and New Cocuriculum Schedule 2016.

        St. John's Institution has celebrated its 112th birthday on 18th January 2016 (Monday) during the school's assembly.Each class must provide their own cake and enjoy it during recess.

        On that particular celebration,a farewell party is also held for our beloved Senior Assistant of Student Affairs,Encik Mustafa Kamal,which he accepted an offer to be an Administrative Assistant for Principals and Curriculum for Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Taman Desa,Kuala Lumpur.His motto for all students,"Anda semua Johannian yang hebat!" will always be remembered.

To commerate with Encik Mustafa's shift,St. John's accepted a new replacement.A sporty and full of passion educator Encik Mazlan is ready to transform St. John's Institution into a higher level of discipline.
 
21st century theme has been accepted nationwide to all school.Since St. John's is not qualified to receive the Frog Classroom Makeover,Puan Jessica Wong Siew Fong (ICT Coordinator),opens up her mind and change that dull Smart Lab into a 21st century themed Smart Lab.The renovation will take place over 2 weeks.Students are advised to not enter until the Smart Lab 1 is completely done.

Monday (25th January) is a public holiday for Thaipusam.Thaipusam is celebrated by Malaysian Hindus and they pray at temples.

Last but not least,extra-curricular activities for uniformed bodies will not be held every Wednesday.The schedule changed and only club/sports/games meetings will only be held on every Wednesday.Uniformed bodies will be held on every Saturday.
